We all start somewhere and the path to success is never “one size fits all”. You have to love what you do to enjoy the journey. It can’t be rushed, but you also can’t be scared of the growth when it happens. Want to know what has held me back the most in my career as a photographer? FEAR! It took me way too long to believe in myself, but a lot of things did have to happen to make me the artist and business owner I am now.
A lot of it was really hard life stuff that changed the way I viewed life and time. In order to put my all into this I had to make it mean something to me. I’m here to share my story with you and help you dig a little deeper to find out how your life experiences can help you create work that will set you apart. Whether it’s your own story or your client’s, I want you to feel confident telling it. Yes some of that involves technical things like using your camera settings appropriately and knowing how to see light in new and exciting ways, but a lot of it is in the act of observation and introspection. I had to find my voice.
I needed to know my “WHY”.
What we might explore (without locking us into a checklist):
• What’s driving your work right now and what feels out of alignment
• How your personal history and values show up in your images
• The through-lines in your favorite photos (and why they matter)
• Creative blocks, confidence dips, or decision fatigue
• Naming what you don’t want, so what you do want becomes clearer

This two-hour mentoring session is a spacious, open-ended conversation designed to meet you exactly where you are. We’ll zoom out, connect the dots, and talk honestly about what’s feeling exciting, heavy, confusing, or unfinished in your work. Instead of following a rigid curriculum, we’ll let your questions lead - uncovering patterns, clarifying direction, and grounding your creative choices in something that actually feels like you. Think of it as a reset, a recalibration, or a deep exhale before what comes next.
What we can work through together:
• Identifying and articulating your why and letting it guide your work
• Refining your visual voice through shooting, light, and intention
• Shaping an editing approach that supports your artistic goals
• Aligning your business practices with the work you actually want to create
• Creating momentum through reflection, action, and follow-up.

"I have watched Allie & her work from afar for a while now (not in a creepy way, I promise - LOL!), and when I saw she was offering mentorships for other photographers interested in her line of work (like myself), I jumped at the chance. We have had 2 mentor calls so far, and every time I hop on a call with Allie, she is always so patient with me, incredibly kind, fun, and inspiring, and I just love her. We actually had our 2nd call just today and I left the call feeling so inspired and optimistic about myself and the future of my business that there are literally no other words to describe it other than: I can't wait to keep going and to see what the future holds for me! Allie's kind-heartedness, warmth, and overall demeanor really add to her whole package. I am so grateful I found her, and know that one day, when I have a little family of my own, she is the first person I am calling to document our lives together. I mean, just look at her gorgeous images! Hire Allie right now! She knows exactly what she's doing & she is the absolute best of them all, hands down."

"I purchased a workshop with Allie as the instructor and WOW. She is a wealth of knowledge, and an amazing teacher. Her down to earth approach to education is so easy to follow and her approach to her client work is beautiful. Her love for documentation of real life is beautifully showcased in her work, and each image is a true piece of art. I will absolutely work again in the future!"

"Allie gave me space to slow down, reflect, and connect the dots between my life, my values, and my photography. The prompts were thoughtful, the feedback felt genuine, and I walked away with a clearer sense of direction instead of more noise."
